I am an animal behaviourist working with canine problematic behaviours on a daily basis for over 45 years, I am currently doing behavioural research in the United States and the Ukraine using the Applied Behavioural Analytic approach in dealing with behavioural issues with canines.
My research interest is fear and aggression in domesticated and feral canines.
My university disciplines are Physiology & Ethology. I’ve completed behavioural coursework at the The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, along with course work at HSUS University, University of Oxford, University of South Florida and University of Cambridge. I lecture at and attend conferences regularly to remain on the cutting edge of applied behavioural science. I am a frequent lecturer at behavioural conferences and have had canines that I’ve worked with featured on Animal Planet, Discovery and National Geographic. I have been published in the Miami Herald, London Times, New York Times and Chicago Tribune, to mention a few.
Special Interest SIG
In 2010 the FABA Animal Behaviour SIG was formed and organized. We had a very well-attended track of animal behaviour presentations. The goal of the SIG is to help improve the lives of animals and their human caregivers.
